Pratuchai ( Gate of Triumph )

Then we visit Pratuchai or the Gate of Triumph ,it is a war monument in center of Vientiane city.
It is built since 1957 and finised in 1968. Altogether around this area calls Pratuchai park which
more Laos people like to take relax in this area.

This monument has four sides ,the east-west gateways open to the Long Xang Avenue, which is used
during ceremonial national parades. In front of each gate ,ther is a pond. The four ponds represent the
open section of a lotus flower. The four cornors of the gateways are adorned by statues of a Naga King ,
with a depiction signifying spraying of a jet of water into the ponds on the groud.

But it was so sun strongly on that afternoon when we walked around... saw spring water in the pond..
let us felt cool ... hmm...such a brithen day...

Inside the monument you can see the the crave concern to Bhudhist principle.

Then we left the monument by used a pick up which we rented for whole day trip.
Time stilled...let's see other place...
