Japan trip 12 Tokyo Sensoji Temple- Asakusa

Sensoji Temple is also known as Asakusa Kanon Temple , this temple is located at Asakusa area
,it was built since 628 and finished in 645 then making it Tokyo's oldest temple. It was built for settled
the statue of Kannon , the goddess of mercy which 2 brothers fished that from Sumida river ,even through
they put back to the river ,the statue still returned to them.

There are more visiters come to visit this temple daily for praying.

Unfortunately me ,for this time we visit the main building is under renovation ,so that cann't take the nice picture, just only buildings around.

                                              This is fortune teller method.

                                       There are so many food shops around the temple.
         After the temple, we go to Akihabara area which is the biggest area for varities of electric things

Japan trip-11 -Tokyo

This morning ,we get up early ,have breakfast at 06.00 am and hurry up catch the train at 06.35 am
to Tokyo but we have to change the train to Shinkansen at Shin-Osaka station.
From Hineno station 06.51 am.reach Shin-Osaka at 08.13 am. then continue from 08.13 am.to Tokyo
and reach at 11.05 am.

Becase we have reserved the seat already since first day arrived at Osaka. Along the way can see
good view also Fuji mountain but quiet far when the train pass that.

See... far away is Fuji Mountain....

This is Shinkansen train...

 Then we reach Tokyo ... but we have to connect to Ueno station next 2 stations and walk around 10 minutes then see the hotel near by ,leave the bag here and go for lunch and visit Sensoji Temple.

Japan trip 10- Nara

We leave Tennoji around 10.00 am.,quite late and use the train direct to Nara ...

When reach Nara,we buy the bus ticket for one day trip at Yen 200:-/pax that we can use any bus
number around the city ,it's fine....then go to the famous temple named Todaiji temple which located
in Nara Park ... Today there are many tourists here... oh oh...first thing I can see here they have
so many dears walk around,thay look familiar with people most.

 

Nara is the ancient city which was to be the capital of Japan,called Heijokyo ,from 710 to 784.

It was considered the cradle of Japanese culture,arts and crafts.

Nara Park is located at the noth-eastern of city,at here there is a famous temple named Todaiji Temple

designated as the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO also other temples and shrines around.

But today we will visit Todaiji Temple...

Along the walking way to the temple ,you can see more dears are walking and nibble grass.There are ทmore souvenir shops and dessert shop along the road to the big gate.

Oh.. take time to walk ,so many people today ... See  at the back of me ..reach the big gate ...come with me ,we will enter to the temple....

You can see the big wood gate ,this temple is the largest wooden building in the world and the magnificent structure is sure to fill its visitors with awe. This  biggest gate is at the south ,they have two beva kings stand gard.... come to see with me...

This temple was founded by Emperor Shomu to enshrine the Great Image of Buddha ( Vairocana Buddha) and as the General Head-temple fo all provincial temples in Japan. It was completed in 752.Unfortunately,fire destroyed the edifice twice, and the present structure,which was rebuilt in 709,
was scaled down to two-thirds of the origial size.

This is a big wood pole inside the building ,which hold that anyone if pass through this hole can success
for any wishes, especially students can be success in learning.

After visit the temple ,we walk along the road,there are so many travellers today. See the varities here....
