China Trip 2 -Gugong -The Forbidden city







This palace was the imperial palace during Ming ( 1368-1644) and Qing dynasties (1644-1911),
it was the place for totally 24 kings to stay here also used for ceremonies and political center.With a large amount of 720,000 square meters ,there are totally 9,999 rooms inside ,ancients and more architecture
developments. Now this palace is the Palace Museum and open for travellers.








                                                This is one long piece of craving,so beautiful.

Lion is the legend animal in China.


       The wall made of fine drawing paper,nowsday many part paper tears off and need renovate.


                This is the king's thorne which Zhudi oftens sat on this and used for politial center.


                                     There are everywhere craving woods like this,very greatful.

Inside buidling they don't allow to enter ,just take picture from the window.


                                      The wall painting with legend animals ,like dragon,kilin.

                This is a clock which was a present from Germany gave to Zhudi during her peiod.



Wood craving with detail of legend animals like dragon and kilin that you can see eveywhere in this palace.





These 3 pictures took from outside building,they don't allow us go inside.This is the most important building
inside the palace which use for ceremonies especailly the king's wedding party.




There are very old years of pine trees evrywhere around the area.
