Lao (4)

After fulfill with seeing ancient temple Wat Prakaew then we walked opposite the road then reached the important temple named Wat Sisaket

Wat Sisaket

This temple is built in 1818, was recently named as one of the world's most endangered monuments.
Established during the reign of  King Anouvong,the last king of Laos.it is the oldest wat in Vientiane
and the only one to survive the invasions of the 1820s. Around the perimeter are 10,136 bronze and
metal Buddha statues.
This ancient place of worship is definitely worth a visit as it is not only an interesting site fo look ,but
also a vaulable piece of Lao's cultureal heritage.
